What is Exxsol?

Exxsol D80, a widely used solvent is a product of Exxon Mobil, it is de-aromatized aliphatic hydrocarbon which is transparent in appearance. It has very low levels of aromatic hydrocarbon which is an indicator to show that they do not exhibit any strong characteristic odor to hinder with the combining compounds.

What is exxsol D60?

Exxsol™ D60 by ExxonMobil Chemical is a dearomatized fluid acting as a solvent. It is a clear and transparent liquid replacing traditional solvents such as mineral or white spirits. It maintains good solvency and low to extremely low aromatic content (typically less than 1%) to minimize risks from exposure.

What is dearomatized solvent?

These are composed of highly hydrogenated products. They have very low aromatic content, a low-penetration smell and a wide range of distillation, from 150 to 280ºC. They are used in low odour paints, adhesives, degreasers, dry cleaning, air fresheners.

What is dearomatized hydrocarbons?

Exxsol™ dearomatized fluids replace traditional solvents such as mineral or white spirits. Proven for more than 30 years, Exxsol fluids maintain good solvency characteristics without compromising safety, health and environmental standards.

What is exxsol D80?

Exxsol D80 is a mineral oil distillate which essentially is an aliphatic hydrocarbon. It comprises of Naphthenic, Paraffinic and Isoparaffinic components. This is a premium Odorless Solvent from ExxonMobil which may act as an ideal replacement for MTO.

What is Isopar L used for?

Isopar L Fluid is a liquid solvent used in paints and coatings, consumer products, printing inks, and agricultural chemical applications.

What is Isopar H?

Isopar H (CAS No. 64742-48-9 / 90622-57-4) is manufactured from petroleum based raw material which is treated with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst. It is a low odor, hydrocarbon solvent which consists mainly of isoalkanes. When compared to conventional solvents Isopar H is distinct with the following properties.

What is Dearomatized oil?

Dearomatized White Spirit produced by Eni is a hydrocarbon compounds mixture containing total aromatics content less than 0.5%, obtained at Livorno refinery by processing a petroleum fraction through a dearomatization catalityc process.

Is isoparaffinic hydrocarbon safe to inhale?

Isoparaffins have a very low order of acute toxicity, being practically non-toxic by oral, dermal and inhalation routes.

What is isopar made of?

Isopar M is a nearly clear odorless petroleum distillate and solvent produced by ExxonMobil. It is created from crude oil. It has a flash point of more than 60 °C, and works as a forming fluid in metalworking, as a household cleaner, a household polisher, and a liquid vaporizer.

What is isopar used for?

Isopar™ fluids are high purity, virtually odorless synthetic isoparaffinic fluids which can be used in personal care products. They are extensively used as a viscosity reducing agent for personal care products due to their compatibility with many non-polar ingredients and good spreadability properties.

Is isoparaffinic hydrocarbon toxic?

Isoparaffins have a very low order of acute toxicity, being practically non-toxic by oral, dermal and inhalation routes. However, aspiration of liquid isoparaffins into the lungs during oral ingestion could result in severe pulmonary injury.
